KIRN 670 am Radio Iran -- Part 1
www.bebin.tv -- I always wanted to know what it was like behind the scenes of one of the most successful Iranian radio stations outside Iran. I guess its the only Persian speaking radio which you can listen to, 24hours a day. So I jumped at a chance to spend a few hours to capture the behind the scene action at the station and finding out how it all started. Operation since 1999, KIRN 670AM has played an important role in the Iranian ex pat community in the Los Angeles area. I would like to thank the whole team at 670AM KIRN who made us feel very welcome during the recording of this program. There are 2 parts to this story, part 2 will be available on Wednesday.

Christopher Hitchens on Iraq and Iran (Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty)
Christopher Hitchens on Iraq and Iran (Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty)
Christopher Hitchens is one of the most prolific and controversial writers in the English-speaking world. A prominent atheist, he is the author of "God is not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything," which became an international best-seller in 2007. He has also written books on topics ranging from the partition of Cyprus to Thomas Jefferson and the Anglo-American relationship; his most recent is the memoir "Hitch 22." RFE/RL writer at large James Kirchick recently interviewed Hitchens at his home in Washington about his left-wing revolutionary past, his views on America, Iran's nuclear program, Turkey's Islamist turn, Putin's Russia, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and sampled his views on a variety of international figures. Hitchens, whose support for the war in Iraq angered many of his former comrades on the left, reaffirms his support for the overthrow of Saddam Hussein and predicts that a military confrontation with Iran is likely.

He formed the "International Space Institute" with the assertion that commercial space flight will be made available to the general public in the near future. This includes a "Moon trip program", currently scheduled for 2016-2017 and eventually travels to Mars. Iran as the first government in the world has showed interest in Mehran's technology and we discuss the initiation and current status of Iran's flying saucer project. In 2005 Keshe filed two patents with the European Patent Office for a "Micro plasma reactor" and a "Gravitational and energy system". Mehran Keshe was born In Iran in 1958, he is the son to an X-ray engineer, he moved to Europe in the mid-seventies for further education in the field of nuclear physics. War In the Air: Israel on edge over Iran
War In the Air: Israel on edge over Iran
Iran says it won't resort to terrorism to avenge the latest murder of one of its nuclear scientists. The speaker of the Iranian Parliament accused Israel and the US of using such tactics, in a desperate bid to stop Tehran's nuclear program. A number of Western officials have spoken out recently about possible military action against Iran. And, as RT's Paula Slier reports, many in Israel say a covert war may already be underway. Iran isn't a threat to anyone and the tension around its nuclear programme is fabricated by Washington - so says Brian Becker of the anti-war ANSWER coalition. IRAJ, ايرج ♥♥♥ "Golhaye Rangarang" 534, گلهاي رنگارنگ ♥ LYRICS
As you hear the brilliant voice of Iraj with a marvellous perfomance in "Dashti, دشتی "! - I believe that Iraj has done an excellent and exceptional presentation in this Golha program "DASHTI dastgah دستگاه دشتی (Persian Music System)". The words used in this GOLHA are probably from "SA'DI", and the orchestral performance was made by HOMAYOUN KHORRAM, همایون خرم Reza VARZANDE, رضا ورزنده Hossein HAMEDANIAN, حسین همدانیان Ahamad EBADI, احمد عبادی & Javad Maroufi, جواد معروفی. This piece of music was originally made for the Iranian National Radio during the 60-70:es. In those days IRAJ voice was at the top and he did many live performances in Iranian national Radio program (before even the TV set were popular) Sometimes he performed special songs for the Iranian Radio theather, the Night-Story program "Dastane Shab, داستان شب " (for instance: the story of "Gol Amoo, داستان گل عمو)" and mostly together with the famouse music players like Mr. Asadollah Malek, اسدالله ملک and Farhang Sharif, فرهنگ شریف so gorgously fitted just to those Radio theaters. Beside the Radio & TV, Iraj also did tremendous numbers of POP songs موسیقی پاپ , many songs for Persian movies آواز برای فیلمها ـ آهنگهای سفارشی (Fardin mimicked them mostly), Classical Persian Music موسیقی کلاسیک ایران , Solo avaz, آواز بدون موزیک , Zorkhaneh Avaz, آواز زورخانه ای and even performed beautifully the avaz of "Kooche Baaghi, غزل کوچه باغی" which is known as "Bayaate Tehran, بیات تهران" now.
